Error: Driver does not support UBYTE4N vertex data??

Is there anyway to get around this. I've installed the latest driver but still pops up this error.

Int. cap ran out so can't google anymore :(
 
Installed the DX requested by COD4.

I know several people who play this on their onboard gfx, but when i try, the damned thing throws me this error.

If my new lap does the same, there will be hell to pay
 
google suggests buying a new graphics card :/

you'll have to give more info if you want more help :P (gpu? cpu? cod4?)
 
In that case I'd say its a lost cause. The hardware is missing this function.

UBYTE4N vertex data??

=4x unsigned bytes with X, Y, Z and a fourth byte that is used for scaling and rotational calculations. Not sure what the N means...
