I'm getting this pop-up errorr very 3-4 seconds on my Note 2.

'Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped'

It started just after I installed Truecaller, yesterday, which I deleted, but it still did not help.
I've cleaned the cache, & rebooted a few times, to no avail.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Robin

Sorry, finger problems.
The error message is..

'Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped'

I've cleared the cache's, rebooted, deleted a few of the latest updates, cleared the contacts cache, but not data as yet, remooted with & without my memory card, deleted a few apps to get some more space.

They all talk about cleaning contacts data. Not sure why that would affect things, but I'll backup my contacts & try later.
The error pops up so quickly, after I OK it, it hardly gives me time to click anything.

Eish! :-(

I had that before, difficult to fix, was also a Note 2 or 3. I made a paste list of some things I found that seemed to fix it:

1. Went to settings
2.General
3.Application Manager
4.ALL
5.Clicked the BOTTOM LEFT button on the phone itself
5.RESET APP PREFERENCES(you will lose all app settings)
Fixed

&

Settings/Apps manager/All/Contacts + Contact Storage CLEAR CACHE!

Good luck mate!

Thanks for that. I MUST make a note of that list.

Strangely, all is ok now. (Must just test a bit)
There were a few updates I did early yesterday morning. I deleted what I could remember, about 2x, then I deleted Go Clock, & all came right.
So, who knows...

And there's more..
For about 1 week now, my lock picture has dissapeared & I cannot get it back, after reassigning a new one. I get a black screen, with the task bar on top. When I swipe, it takes me to the desktop as usual. But that I can live with. I think my Note 2 is getting tired.

And for the last few weeks, I get a popup talking about access to a secure area has been blocked. My Security Policy is up to date & CleanMaster finds no viruses.

Always something!!

I'd reload the firmware, perhaps also try a factory reset before that to see if that sorts it out. Your phone sounds like something is corrupted in the firmware.

Yup, I just do not have the patience to go through all that factory reset sage, & trying to remember what I had.
I'll bit the bullet until it REALLY falls over (it was close today) & the see. (6 months to go until my contract is renewed, I've had the thing for 3 and a half years anyway, with about 160 apps on it!! It would be nice if it lasts until then.

So, It happened again, after downloading Truecaller. The error started flashing every 3-4 seconds, not giving me time to do much. It carried on after I deleted Truecaller, so, I'm doing a factory reset as we speak!

Your firmware is damaged. Wipe everything and reload the original firmware. Also check your sd card is working properly.

Well, I bit the bullet & did a factory reset! (SD card is perfect) (No firmware update needed)
After Google reloaded my apps again (some went missing), All is working apart from a popup talking about access to a secure area has been blocked.
My battery life is far improved, from dying at about 15H00, after taking off charge at 07H00, it now had 4% at 21h00 last night.
All is good again.
