Es file Explorer change es save to default location

Fark I've looked all over Google, it's something simple but I just can't remember how to do it.
When you are in an app say Quick pic select a pic and use the share menu Es save to location.
It's set to some folder I created and then deleted farked if I know how to change the default to something else.
Anyone know how, would be very grateful

If you can not change ES File Explorer's default settings, you may have to delete them: Settings > Application manager > ES File Explorer and Clear Defaults

Looked there its neither of those.

If you can not change ES File Explorer's default settings, you may have to delete them: Settings > Application manager > ES File Explorer and Clear Defaults

Really don't want to do that I have a lot a things customised.

Install another file explorer to get the choice of what you want to use as default back? Then maybe when selecting ES again you can change it?

Well I was thinking that would let you change it cuz I can't even see a way to set it as default to begin with. Mine just defaults to the root fake SD card directory (that's on internal storage) and I've never had any control over it.

Maybe I'm missing something but in es file Explorer
Menu (3 bar thing on left)
Settings (at bottom of page) ,
Directory settings
And then choose a file location?

It goes to my phone storage root.

I'm really not sure what you're on about, but ES allows you to backtrack to whatever directory you want to go to or create?

Yes every single time I have to navigate from this folder nested deep in the bowels of android Os, in a very obscure location. Makes it a royal pita, I just want to be able to quickly save files to the ext sd card, instead I have to jump through 5 or 6 hoops to get there, everytime, which depending on what I am doing may be numerous times in a very short time frame.
