Eset NOD32 AV and Smart Security: Download doesn't complete?

I've been trying to download the version 4 for both the above products and the download just stops after a while. I have seperate subscriptions for 2 different machines. The download process only starts after you have entered your username and password. Their download service does not work with a download manager, so when it gets stuffed some way through, you have start all over again. The speed to their download service also seems to be very poor [I'm on 4Meg ADSL at work] while other sites are fine. I've now wasted in excess of 100MB:mad:. One download stopped at 87%:mad:.

Any ideas?
 
Eish. I assume this is a legal version you're running?

I haven't yet had a problem with the products we're running but so far the Eset support has been pretty good. Maybe get hold of them?
 
Then it really has no reason not to work :/

Let me see if I can get the download going from my side and if it completes. But I really would suggest getting hold of ESET if you can't come right.
 
I downloaded with orbit download manager. Worked like a charm and installed without a hitch.
 
So, it looks like it must be the connection at work or possibly firewall related:o.

Will try it out now on my 3G/HSDPA connection and report back.

Ok, v4 of the AV seems to have created some serious DNS problems in Vista on my 3G connection. Browsers take forever to resolve hostnames making browsing painful. Also, Opera now tends to freeze up when switching between tabs and sometimes when clicking on links. I didn't have these issues previously.

Anyone else having any issues?
 
only issue i have is that i dont want it to downloadupdates every 4 times a day.i have gone into setup and have set it up as a shedule but it always bypasses it
