Why is there no push for rollout of eSim for dual eSim phones? Had enough of being price gouged by Big Red and Big Yellow.

Because then you can put a data contract on your 2nd SIM at a fraction of the price of traditional data bundles. They will lose all the way...

(An aside, if you have reception, Telkom does offer eSIM functionality, even on prepaid)

MTN, Telkom and Cell C do have esim. MTN only for contract. Vodacom also only contract but limited to wearables. Not sure if Cell C and Telkom offers esim on contract also. Rain tested it, but was never made available commercially also with no plans currently to do so
