Eskom bleeding skills

"Ramokgopa told eNCA that there is a stigma that everyone who works at Eskom is corrupt or incompetent, making it less prestigious to be associated with the company."

When engineers and other professionals have to put food on the table they dont care if the company they work is a prestigious company or not. They leave because Eskom bosses make it impossible for them to climb up the ladder or work effectively and get things done. It is those lazy few bad apples that make it hell to work there, the good apples leave, leaving a whole basket of just bad apples.

In the US they are calling it DEI, instead of BEE.
On forums they they call it "Didn't Earn It".

Guess we can then call ours "Barely Barely Earned" or "Begrudgingly Bestowed Entitlement"

What Ramokgopa said is true. That is sad.

Haha!

[minister] The best way of dealing a decisive and fatal blow to naysayers is the resolution of load-shedding, and I’m quite confident that the men and women who are the exceptionally qualified PhD nuclear scientists are the ones who are going to help us to resolve this

[VGBE ] “We repeatedly noticed that there is a high degree of theoretical knowledge. However, the complex management system makes its application very difficult.”

Come-on Ramokgoppens... All you have to do is to get them to apply all that theoretical nuclear physics learning to fix the coal stations. What's the holdup?

The electricity minister thinks we need nuclear scientists for a coal power stations. Is he mad or showing his ignorance. Regarding the poor quality engineers and staff you can attribute to BEE and Cardre deployment. The remaining quality staff are in all probability going on pension soon. The other's left years ago when ESKOM became toxic with BEE AND CARDRE DEPLOYMENT.
