Eskom boss gets 27% pay increase

I love it....no really I do.... I'm a doomsdayer (apparently) and I love the fact everyday brings SA one step closer to failure. Why? Because the wrong people are in charge simple as that. People like myself get insulted and ridiculed every time we crticise, and then something like this justifies the criticism yet people will continue to tell us that "No you're wrong! You're racist!" Enjoy it... I certainly am! ;)
 
Relax people, it's a million odd rand.

What about the real issue: electricity prices!

Do you also reward incompetence like the government obviously does? :p

It could also be that he has government by the balls and has simply said: Pay me more or I go elsewhere.

How does a million rand affect you and me? One hundredth of a cent each?

The problem is he should be fired and they need to sort out that company ASAP.

Yes he should be fired, but that's the problem isn't it? He hasn't been fired, he's been rewarded, and that's why people are getting their koeksisters in a knot. The truth is he won't be fired, nor will the company be sorted until every last penny has been squeezed out of the rate payer, until then keep bending over for the unique experience that is African Anal Sex.
 
Perhaps a million is not that much if you now want to go and split it amongst the whole population of the country...but it does not make it right....cause this is a case of government rewarding incompetency? Sends out a message of "dont do your job....its ok...we will pay you even more next year". Regarding the comment that perhaps he had the government by the balls by threatening to go else where. Why not let him go? I think it is now apparent that he is not managing ESKOM well, so then let him go if he is not happy with his salary....and find someone that is willing to do the job and do it well.

So President Zuma, how is the ANC's policy of AAS doing? Judging from the CEO's of the various parastatals, it seems to be making a penetrating impact into the problem. Your comments ?
 
I feel like puking over my prepaid meter. This is disgusting and the company is battling financially.
