Eskom breakdown disaster

Same, just wondering why he wants all the workers and tax payers to go protest :p
Learn to read. What I said was it's a wonder why people have not started to actively protest this situation. Rather don't try to obfuscate a thread and put words into my mouth.

I'm not suggesting this. Load shedding hardly affects me other than traffic lights. We made our own plans years ago thanks. I'm just wondering how South Africans can protest for just about everything else, but when we have a clear issue like this, one that is so visible and clearly the cause of poor leadership and corruption, there's no action whatsoever.
Suggestions on what they can do?
Vote for someone else next year.
That's it.

Sit at home with no electricity or protest in the street with no electricity. Seems people have realised it will make no difference

For who? The masses will never vote for any party that has even one white person in it. So if the ANC loses control, the EFF gets it. I don't know what is worse.

You're a people?

You go start a protest, I'll go to school to learn to read again.

What boggles my mind is why the EFF have not done their usual rally(looting) on this issue yet. Perhaps they benefit more if Eskom fails?
They don`t want to rock the boat, they still get free and stolen electricity.

Winning hearts and minds...

We're an hour past the time load shedding should have ended and still no electricity. Feels like we're in stage 7. :(

But when it gets to that stage, you can consider yourself one of the best prepared citizens in the country!

ANC elective conference ... you never know how this feeds into securing trough feeding positions... just way too convenient...units going off line and the sabotage not being investigated by the Hawks but by Eskom themselves...as for the EFF, they have their finger in whatever pie there is to be had...

Bro

In your OP you literally said 'Why are we not protesting'
Learn to write?

The Darkness said:
Can't believe how South Africans are just putting up with this. Why are we not protesting and demanding results?

Look, it's December. Let's declare another lockdown, ban roast chicken and sandal sales, everyone has to stay at home. To sweeten the deal, we all get five bags of charcoal, a whole sheep, five cases of Castle Lager, and a case of white wine from government. If we get all that, we don't need electricity.
As long as the sheep is still alive when you get it.

Can't believe how South Africans are just putting up with this. Why are we not protesting and demanding results?
This is South Africa.
Protests will 100% of the time make things worse, even the politicians know this.

I think the ultimate protest will come in the form of votes come 2024. Keep up the good work ANC
