Eskom Crises - Moose feels guilty!

Maybe the Moose has a sister.

But then again I do not think the leaders of his country allow dual citizenship, so I will miss all this lovely loadshedding.

My wife might not approve - guess I can just cite Zuma in defense. Wouldn't worry about dual citizenship, I'd happily drop my SA passport for a Namibian one.

Moose, happy to share for now but please start laying down those solar panels. Can't we at least swop your night-time power for your 365 days of sun-power

Power still on up here...

On a point of interest, I will not mention anyone by name, but a mate popped in for coffee earlier this enlightened morning, lamenting the fact that he now has to do his boss's work as most mining folk are heading away on leave.

One of his tasks his to sort out the mine's power bill, reckons it runs at around 7 Million per month.

I asked as to why our power has not been shut off yet, he reckons there is a strong agreement in place and that ESKOM can request them to reduce power consumption, but they cannot turn the whole lot off. Turns out they can reduce by 10% by shutting the entire town off and leaving the mine on..... I have a feeling that we shall soon be joining your third world power outage extravaganza...
