It's because he literally has zilch going for him in responding. He can't continue attempting to create the scenario he knows what he's talking about. He doesn't. Between a rock and a hard place.

He's still at the first stage of grief. Although he lives in a permanent state of denial so he'll probably never get to the other 4.

Well if businesses continue to collapse, we become less industrialised and Eskom also sorts out some of the larger issues like Medupi and Kusile's chimney we could possibly see an end to load shedding in a couple of years.
That's a big IF and it assumes that going forward new generation can be brought online while older power stations are decomissioned. The latter requires planning and we all know how good Eskom/ANC are are that.

Apartheid will be blamed for this, and people will just keep buying solar and batteries.
If people haven't started revolting yet about this, nothing will change and it will just get worse.

Even looking at basics, Zimbabwe has a biometric passport and South Africa does not.

I have always known becoming Zim 2.0 is not as bad as people make it out to be.
