Eskom load-shedding schedule for the week

Eskom plans to suspend load-shedding for most daytime hours in the coming week, the power utility said in a statement on Sunday, 10 March 2024.

Eskom explained the load-shedding breaks were made possible by the recovery of emergency generation reserves, the return of three generating units, and the anticipated weekday demand.

Early Wednesday morning when everybody sleeps, Eskom will take 2000mw offline for schits 'n giggles, with another unit or 2 that will has delays to return to service, resulting into higher LS stages or just to replace the shortfall of the returned units.
