Then what? Privatise Eskom? Minista "we must eat" will come swinging by, and saying all things that the ANC is the saviour for Eskom, and even Ramokgopa keeps on telling lies, in direct contradiction to the data...

Like it or not, Eskom is a very tired, rusted out ship sinking slowly...

I just hope they never get the go ahead for NHI. Because if they ****up health care in this country, we're really ****ed.

Well, they have already screwed up state health care. Some of our state hospitals were amongst the best in the world before the communist cadres were gifted the country. Medical students from around the world came here to train at various hospitals. Now, not even the Cubans, Chinese or Russians would train here voluntarily. And no ANC politician would go to a state hospital or clinic for treatment.

Sitting in the life raft and saying you are not sinking is technically true. Tying life jackets to the ship to keep it afloat is also a valid plan, although it won't stop it sinking.

Management is about cutting costs where it is not needed and spending where it is needed the most. Why is Coal being trucked in at R5000 per Load to powerstations. When a single Locomotive can pull in 30 wagons at R1000 per wagon. Who is enjoying these lucrative contracts. Spend Money on securing the lines and Locomotives and shoot to kill anyone tampering with infrastructure.
