The deadlock in the Eskom wage negotiations has been broken following a 14-hour marathon wage negotiation process.

I am surprised it took 14 hours. Eskom has no shame in passing all expenses, warranted or not, to the consumer.

Eskom employees are already highly paid compared to the private sector. Add a 10% increment, and they are sitting pretty.

It's fantastic if you work for Eskom. For the tax payers living in a country with 0% growth who will be lucky if they get an increase let alone half of what Eskom employees are getting, who then have to pay the Eskom employees wages, it fccking sucks.
