Eskom pauses load-shedding

Eskom says it will suspend load-shedding at 10:00 on Sunday due to the recovery of more than 3,000MW of generation capacity and replenishment of emergency reserves.

It added that it aims to restore an additional 4,091MW of capacity by Monday.

For people who spend their time telling us how load shedding is a thing of the past, they sure spend a lot of time doing it. Of course load shedding has now been replaced by "line faults" in many areas. 2 to 4 hours load shedding has been replaced in Durban by 3 to 4 days of supposed cable faults or cable theft or some or other excuse for no power.
