What is the rate per KWH now in this area ?
Trying to work out what a device consumes a day
85 watt floor fan

Sliding scale.

I'm in the area and my latest bill details the first two steps:

Step 1: up to 460KWh at R1.0818
Step2: not sure what the cap is, but at R1.2415

Someone with a bigger bill than I could fill in for the further steps?

Thanks bud worked it out it's not a lot of money. Actually very cheap to run. I'm using about 470 a month

1KW = 1000w

1000W/85W = 11hrs 45min of use for each unit.
So around R3-4 a day to run assuming 24/7 usage.
