So, not only does Eskom discriminate that some of us has to pay else we get cut off summarily, now they gonna cut bulk supply & penalise the few payers along with the non-payers from that municipality? Clever thinking, pissing off the remaining few % of your paying customers, effectively encouraging them to stop paying a well.

That's just it. You paid for your electricity to the municipality but did the municipality pay Eskom for what you have used or just mismanaged the funds and never paid Eskom.....

If it does get cut people are going to be angry at the wrong company. They need to be angry at the municipality for mismanaging funds and not Eskom

I live in Nketoana municipality and let me tell you: This hollow threat of power cuts does not worry us one bit because our elected officials are driving some of the nicest and most expensive BMWs* in the province. And that is what is important, right?

* 4x4 models because of the potholes. And they don't run on electricity.
