Eskom wants to cut coal dependency

If Eskom was really committed to reducing dependency on coal they would implement a buy-back type system where private individuals and businesses can generate their own power and deliver the excess into the national grid.

There are some awesome advancements with this technology.

Some useful and informative info can be found at these sites for those that are interested in how this works.

Eskom wants to cut coal dependency

Yeah and I want a billion bucks. There's a lot of hard work between wanting & having & I don't think the current Eskom management has the ability to get us there.

The idea of clean renewable green sources of electricity is appealing, and by the time we have been nailed with all the +25% increases over the next few years, it will be cheaper to go solar, wind and water for our power needs.
