Eskom

Well wait a month or two and you will see more international companies moving out of SA and over the borders with their companies. So far 5 that I know of, will be moving very soon. More that 112 000 jobs lost to local people. Hope Eskom will give them jobs.

My take on the people returning is much the same why I returned.
Dont forget the world economic crisis.
It is very easy to forget the bad here and think your birth place is better than where you are.
Most of these people miss the so called luxuries, having maids, 2 cars etc but thats all coming to an end.
They dont realise what k@k we are really in IMO.

I'm still trying to explain this factoid to my mother. Thankfully, I already convinced her that leaving is a better option.

It depends which country you choose. Leaving SA for UK is a non-sense, AFAIK

UK, NZ, Spain are problem countries. And Australia wont accept a large scale immigration policy like you can see in Western Europe

I was born in Serbia and spent 5 years there for university. It hasn't changed much due to the global crisis and with the money I could take out here, I could have a very comfortable life there. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it there and know a heck of a lot of people, so finding a well paying job would be easy for me.

Serbia, such a beautiful country sacrified for global jihadism. Yet another problem country, especially with the Sandzak :(

Still fun to live there (for now), as for later... who knows?

I like how the Soweto residents interview said they'd "die without electricity" and claimed it was a "right" rather than a privilege...what a bunch of idiots. One must pay for electricity...

Said it when it happened here. One day we have rolling blackouts and then all of a sudden no more???
Do they honestly think we are that stupid?

Yep. They also think we're dumbasses who can;t stand up for ourselves and are loathe to use alternatives. Which is true.

people have been complaining, but the ANC keeps eskom where they are.....

the problem with the ANC being there = the voters
the problem with the voters = stupidity.

Majority of ANC voters live in townships and thus claim electricity is a right. Don't think they're too bothered about the increase.

Wrong. We could have started neighbourhood initiatives, local grids so to speak. There are many options when fighting against @ssh0les, we just didn't take them.
