Eskom's disappointing collapse in one chart

I was expecting the article to only be a chart but instead was greeted with a wall of text.

If a miracle dont happen, the private sector move to their own power, and we the households have power security like hole in the ground toilets, the cities are going to stink some day.

Ramaphosa admits ANC policy, poor management and corruption caused load shedding, poor Eskom performance

And yet they will continue with those **** policies... fml

Eskom's disappointing collapse in one chart

South Africa is experiencing its worse year of load-shedding because of poor power station performance and Eskom’s declining energy availability factor (EAF).
As I have mentioned before is the absence of management that causes this deteriorating performance. In 2015/16 FY, Duvha improved in EAF from 45 to 59% with same employees but different management that were focused on performance. In 2016/17 FY, the EAF moved from 59 - 72.36%. There was change in key management and everything collapse back to where it is right now. So I agree with the analysis

With the chart at the bottom of the wall? Don't worry, I hate reading too.

Starting with the chart would have be much more effective. I prefer my data contextless, that makes it easier to get a zealous opinion without much effort.

"Please ignore everything to the left of the 2019 date. Only pay attention to 2019 onwards" - Everyone who blames De Ruyter for load shedding
I don't blame him for load shedding itself, but he certainly hasn't done anything in his three years there to improve matters. On the contrary, we're on our fourth Stage 6 of the year, with an even worse outlook for the year ahead and no end in sight.

Good riddance to him, and good luck to whoever inherets this mess.

That performance comparison between the US and SA is insane.
