ESPNs rock paper scissors league

is it really "rock, paper, scissors" like we played in school (and stiil now sometimes)....

...i've seen it on the tv guide, but thought it can't be, can it?
 
It really is just that. Much like you played at school, except the winner gets a cheque instead of your lunch...
 
Yeah, they get really excited when paper beats rock! And they go into excessive detail about the preliminaries, including player profiles and interviews. Awesome!!! :D
 
I couldnt believe it. They have commentators, smoke machines, lighting etc.

This is hardly suprising, I mean if they can suddenly make Poker a sport or Darts a sport then I dont see why they cant make this game .
