Hi All

We have managed to get hold of a few Apple iPads 2 units all with Wi-Fi and 3G, in 32 GB and 64 GB versions and Black and White models.

Note these are Local stocks and not Grey or parallel imports and stocks are extremely limited and only available in Midrand branch only.

The pricing is a bit high compared to other resellers for that reason we are giving a Manhattan iPad Kickstand with every unit sold; these are on a first come first basis.

Throw in some Disney stickers and you got a deal. :D

I have to go CNA or some bookshop to buy Disney stickers, do not stock them, only sell the Disney IT products:)

Please take note that the 32GB Apple IPads 2 are now sold out on both Black and White models , we will be getting more in next week , already have a backorder pending

We do have some of the 64gb version in stock but selling out fast.

Out of interest - how have sales been on the other tablet - Tegra - you imported?

We ordered another this week as we have about one or two left around the branches ,
And interestingly enough not one with any major issues , the biggest issue was setting up the 3G which is simple if you know how to
For the price and the spec it great value especially with 3G

We are already looking at another oem Vendor that has Android 3.0 so waiting for samples to test and evaluate.

but nothing can Compare to the Apple iPad 2 , if we have 500 units we would sold them by now

Excellent and original idea.

Just dont have it on Eid Day.... :)

No even with VAT your prices are pretty good! Check what the likes of Kahalari etc are charging.

Funny how impatience bites you in the ass, I really wanted a 3G model but after 2 months of waiting I finally caved when I saw that iGear.co.za were selling the wifi version with very little markup (as compared to the 3G model which was about R1500 more than the RRP)

If you sell the new ASUS Transformer that's going to be 3G enabled (TF101G) I will definitely buy one. I know you already sell ASUS products and the TF101G will only be launched in SA in September, so if you can bring it in and start selling at the same time as retailers you'll sell dozens.

IMO the Transformer is the best Android Tab on the market.

Can only be better than the Samsung Tab... piece of ****.

I'm considering either getting the Transformer 3G - or waiting for the iPad 3

The reason I love the Transformer is that it's also a laptop when you're at home.
Which means it's easy to use Citrix clients on it to work from anywhere etc etc. Having a keyboard is so obvious but also brilliant when considering tablets, because that's their one obvious flaw.
Also, the dock extends battery life to 16hours of continuous work, I doubt any laptop could keep up.
