Hi All

After a hectic week after coming back from a two week vacation and doing the successful “ Walk for a Blanket” campaign last week and the launch on Blitz Patrollie the Movie in Gauteng on Sunday night and Durban last night

Thank You Joe, it was hard work to get the event off the ground but it was worth it in the end as we had over 1000 people that attended and collected a 8 ton truck of can foods, I stand corrected but I think we collected enough monies to buy over 2000 blankets, which myself , and partner and our all staff with the assistance of Caring Woman’s Forum and Gift of the Givers will start distributing to homeless shelters and in around Greater Pretoria areas over the next few days. We currently have no plans to do anything like this is other areas due to logistics reasons , but I can suggest that you get some friends and family together and start sometime no matter how small as it can only grow from there , we started off two years doing a soup kitchen which we do every Friday mornings and it grown from there. Please PM me and maybe we can look at partnering with you in your area.
 
Is it just me or are all the NICs on Esquire just PCI, while the N54L requires PCI-E?

I'd prefer not to put the theoretical backwards compatibility to the test.

Also 8 tons & 2k blankets...respect.

Why would you want to put a NIC when it has one onboard already, I just checked my unit and it has one? , I would suggest to rather get a wireless dongle

For firewall purposes. Needs one incoming & one outgoing. The common FW distros don't do single NIC.

Got a wifi dongle for my gaming PC...not a fan...occasionally drops even with wicked signal (wtf). So now I've got a cat5e lying in my hallway...

Might go for that as a testing setup though...seeing how I've got a dongle already.
 
I also phoned Durban on Saturday looking to purchase one on the special but was told they don't have. Unfortunately I live pretty far from Durban to just drive there and get one but thought as I was in Durban it would be great. Did not notice this special ended on 12 May either. Guess will be waiting in anticipation of another special and stock.
 
I know this isn't the right thread, but Esquire haven't made any new threads recently. Was wondering how ameniable esquire would be to MyBB users :D. Been craving this screen Philips LED monitor E-line 23.6", but been waiting for payday (tomorrow) but i see its no longer on special. It was R1399 and is no R1599 :'(. Any chance Esquire would be a good guy and pull a MyBB extended 1 day special ? :P.

If not, when would the cape town branch be expecting the following screen, or are there new specials on screens coming out :).

Stay away from Esquire!

Rather pay more than deal with them.
 
House has a butthurt from from questionable service last week. His a bit biased at the moment.

Hi. Do you guys still have the microservers? And if so, how much ... don't need it bundled with anything ... just the server.

On their site they are going @ R 2199ex currently. They had them on promo (R1199 ex) a few weeks back.

Thanks ... that's still too high for me. Will wait for them to come to like 1199 again :P

They aren't going off the market, in fact a new version was just announced. It's going to be even more expensive than the N54L though.
