Esquire let me down :(

yeh, I knew that esquire would sort this out, I'm sure if a pm had been sent it would’ve been sorted out ages ago..............

pity though that this service doesn't filter down so it becomes unnecessary for the OP to bother you
with what should've been a non issue!!

Sadly the ethics don't always roll down, a reality of life right here right now, but tap the resources that you have available to you the time, indeed.
 
All companies have mishaps, its how they handle them that count - at least here you have a response from Esquire and can get sorted out. Companies like Rectron or Sahara would give you the middle finger, so hopefully you continue giving Esquire your business and more.
 
Well, I for one went somewhere else - was in the market for a colour laser, the Esquire special looked good, read this story (before the esquire response was forthcoming), hotfooted it over to prophecy and bought one from them rather.

Business in the internet era requires that all the parties in your value chain have an appreciation of the fact that customers are to be treated with respect.
 
Just an update, after sending off the information that was requested (15th December), i have still not heard back from Esquire.

So i guess it looks like i can write off that money.

Seems to be in line with the other thread about the hard drive that died under warranty which they didn't want to replace and just went and gave store credit instead.
