Nice, I'll be up for one of those!

Will they be available at the Durban shop? And if so what is the address? ;)

On my thread asking about a graphics card for my son the 9800GT came up. Can someone else on here tell me whether they think the 9400GT would be suitable for Spore, NFS etc?

Esquire what is the difference between the two 9400GT cards? I see they both say 512mb in the title but the one says 1Gb in the specs. Is the title of the one an error?

the bottom one is definitely 1GB VGA Card and a Low Profile card ,looks like an error on the top , thanks for pointing it out, will get it fixed

The 9800gt is far superiour to the 9400gt, if you are really on a tight budget rather go 9600gt that will run everything out atm

i've got a good GFX card so nothing useful for me this week i guess...

ok, so we are allowed to order under the myb001 account - where can we get a pricelist of the other items - or are we only allowed to buy specials?

What is the difference between the two 9600GT cards then? Memory speed only?

As stated on my "graphics card help" thread. Many thanks to Esquire for the assistance in providing me with a solution for my graphics card needs. They have gone out of their way to provide me with what I needed at an exceptional price.

Guys, if you haven't used them then do not hesitate.

i ask again - where can we see the rest of the stuff or are we only allowed to buy the specials ?

Keeper, PM Esquire for the dealer password, then go to esquire.co.za and get the pricelist whenever you want :)

What is the warranty on POV cards? I hear the build quality is rubbish.

Hello Juggy

the warranty of Point Of View (POV)cards is a Three Year warranty subjected to our standard terms and conditions , as far as quality is concern the POV are designed in Europe and manufactured in the East ,

As a company that has been importing for 10 years we had our fair share of problems due to quality , compatibility and RMA issue , even with well known brand of products , but since we have been doing POV cards we had very little of these issues but the most important for us is the Vendor support and POV has come to the party for us every time with even the smallest problems we face which to us is of paramount importance

EDIT: 1st Year is an Immediate swop out with brand new card , 2nd and 3rd with repaired or refurbished unit

3 year. Decent cards IMO.

At least from the price list - "Retail Box 3 year warranty"

Yeah...I was told my 9800 GX2 also carries a 3 year warranty from the salesperson at Esquire. Would be rather "worrisome" if this was not the case;)
