Really want to say its a bloody great experience dealing with them especially Mahomed,

He is always hands on if there is an issue and so willing to help.

Wish more CEO's were as involved and helpful as he is.

I did exactly that, this is what the thread is about - my mistake and they are happy to help

Damn - you are lucky. I bought a laptop bag for a client (bag was label to accomadate a laptop with a 15.6"). Took the bag back to the office and the laptop wouldn't fit. Took the bag back to them and was told that I need to pay a handling fee before they exchanged it. When I pointed out that the bag was marked incorrectly, I was told that I should buy a bigger bag and keep the one that I had already purchased to use in the future :) Glad you had a good experience, but this one has put me off buying from them completely
 
Esquire's peeps are not bad, waaaay better than their counterparts in the desert. Always ready to assist. Agreed that returns could be better, but then again, know when to use them, know the prices and value that you may or may not receive. I visit them regularly, and respect the fact that they run a tight ship.
And they have typical Islamic hospitality, even a pork loving crusader like myself cannot resist their awesome spicy mutton boerie rolls that they serve in abundance at certain times of the year. Good peeps, pity that their PE branch closed a few months ago. Sign of the times I guess.

Totally agree with you they can be a pain, the only thing that they good for is a memory stick its cheap there. Moved all my buying to Frontosa they dont give you any of this **** about all the bank account stuff and their prices are dam good plus they get stock asap or picking up is a breeze there, like Coffee Lake is there next week already etc. Esquire always has a stupid que that takes forever to move then from one window to the next etc. Esquire also just stock out of date products to be honest.
 
So the one lady that helped me was explaining it, Esquire really have a situation where people return stuff with damaged boxes or packaging and it puts them in a difficult position, to be honest I have to take their side on this issue. I can understand if its a faulty unit but if not then how does one expect the distributor to exchange this?
Remember they are not a retailer its just interesting to hear their side and to be honest it makes sense.
