Just wanted people's opinion on him in general.

OK, the truth is that I want my own very low opinion of him to be tested with the other posters

I was introduced to him once at a social event and he is vile. I particularly do not like hangers-on and 'ja-broers', which is what he is to Mbeki. I for one cannot wait for him to get out of office and run off somewhere.

Nope. When I was introduced to him, he said something to the (also Indian) person next to him in Gujarat (an Indian dialect), which was later translated to me by my boyfriend. Not suitable for re-print here.

That is the only time I have ever met him in person, but as I said, his attitude as Mininster in the Presidency I do not like one bit. I find it very rude and condescending. Seeing that he works for the taxpayer, one would think he could adjust that attitude a little bit. They way these people act, one would swear that we work for them and not vice versa.
