ET 500 gate motor

Something happened and the remotes weren’t working anymore. Apparently caused by interference from someone else’s transmitter. Affected a couple of cars in the area too.

Reprogrammed the remotes but getting 5 short beeps, hear a click, followed by 1 short beep when pressing the button.

Can’t find this beep sequence in the troubleshooting section of the manual.

Did you erase the remotes first?

Power down, AC and DC
Bridge all 3 pins (a keyring works)
Power up (wait for 30 beeps or LED flashes)
Done
Then re-learn your remotes bridging the centre and edge pins

If the motor does not start, check the 25A fuse close to the edge

Suggest also re-learn the limits. Is there a beam? Is it on auto-close?

You also may have Holiday Lockout on

Erased the remote and reprogrammed it.

There’s no beam or auto-close. Or there shouldn’t be, at least.

Don't recall.. you would have to take a multimeter and test yours to be sure..

Thanks. Starting to suspect I might have also inadvertently set “holiday mode”.

Fixed. Think the master erase I performed previously didn’t work. Master erased again with the battery disconnected and reprogrammed all the remotes.
