ET Gate motor with Sherlo Receiver

I have quite an old what seems to be an ET500 gate motor. I am switching all my remotes to Sherlotronics remotes. I can't find much information on this but from what I can see is that there is bt input on the motor. If I connect the Sherlo receiver to this and the common will it work as a gate open and close?

Has anyone else done this?

Yes will work fine. Just connect the 12v to power the receiver as well. COM and NO on the receiver to COM and BT on the motor to operate motor.

Both are good remotes, the Sherlo might have a bit of a longer range. What's the application?

Both ET and Sherlo do 6-button remotes. Both are quality remotes. Like I said the Sherlo's might have slightly longer range. Best bet is to check out the remotes yourself. Only difference other than range is that the Sherlo remote buttons are easier to press (softer touch)

How do you wire the Sherlo remote to switch lights on and off.
I understand that I would connect a Sherlo receiver to the lights - but what would the wiring look like?
Neutral from mains to lights as per normal and then positive in and out on sherlo receiver set to latch mode and the out goes to the lights? Just wondering how many amps the receiver could handle if that is the case.
