ETF portfolio advice [newbie]

Hi everyone

I started getting into ETFs about a year ago - advice from the users on this forum, so thanks to the guys who mentioned it.

Since opening my account on etfsa I have unfortunately not been very active with my investing, though. I have only bought into satrix indi and ashburton top 40.

I've decided to get back into doing research into ETFs. There is a lot of conflicting advice going around on the net though, so I'd like to get some advice from some of you who definitely know way more about this than I do.

One thing that i keep reading is that i need a diverse portfolio. What the hell does that even mean? And how do i go about getting one?

Top 40 is already somewhat diversified, perhaps what you should consider is some offshore exposure, a property ETF etc... That's what's meant by diversification.
