Ethernet switch issues

I’m trying to add a switch to my fibre router but it’s giving me issues connecting to the internet when I plug in more than one device.

If I plug my PS5 into the switch by itself, it connects to the internet just fine; if I plug my powerline adapter in by itself, it also connects just fine. But when I plug them in together, or try to plug in a third device, only the first thing I plugged in will be able to go online.

My networking knowledge sucks but sounds like an IP address issue? The switch in question is this one.

Router then switch. Vumatel assigns only 1 IP to each physical fibre line. You need to have a router share that connection out and have the dhcp manage everything else connected to the switch

Do they have static IPs? How many IPs is router set to give out? Does you router have more than one LAN port? If yes, does the issue only happen on the switch?
They don't have static IPs, I'm just plugging stuff into the switch which then goes straight into the fibre router; I say "router" here but it's the main box thingy connected to the fibre line and only one of its several LAN ports are functional. I don't know how many IPs it can give out and I was hoping the switch would just assign IPs by itself but clearly not.

Here's what it looks like. The Nokia box is the main fibre connection; the yellow cable goes out of the apartment to the main fibre line, and the gray cable from the only active LAN port goes to the TP Link switch below:

Interestingly enough, when I plug a wifi router into the Nokia fibre box and connect two devices to that, they connect to the internet just fine. So this means I can have multiple IPs connected then, right? My issue is that wifi router only has two ethernet ports and I need at least 4, hence the addition of the switch.

So then, as agentrfr said above, it seems like the switch is not managing multiple devices correctly and everything I plug into it is therefore fighting over the same IP? (As I said, my networking knowledge sucks.)

Thank you for your help so far dudes!

The switch is brand new too. Since the wifi router lets me add multiple devices to it and the switch doesn't, it is just busted?

You need to connect the wifi router to to the Nokia fibre router then connect the switch to the wifi router. Only one ethernet port is activated on the fibre router. You use your wifi router to manage your network. You leave the Nokia box alone and only plug the wifi router into LAN port 1 on it.

And now it works! Legend!

Dude, thank you so much. I was tearing my hair out over this.

And thanks to supersunbird and agentrfr too for helping an oke out :)
