Hi guys

Gonna be running ethernet through the house soon whilst renovating. I'm changing the power plugs to some modern looking ones from Scneider Electric and changing the light switches too. But I can't seem to find anything on Google on ethernet wall plates made by this company. Anyone knows if Scneider has something like this?

CBI has a complete range: http://www.cbi-electric.co.za/products_select.php?p=14

My house is wired with CBI. They also have Telephone, TV, DSTV and Ethernet connections.

Remember that the Communications cabling can not be in the same conduit as the power.

Also allow more conduit space than you presently need. I wired for a four way communications point, and found that I now need a six way.

But I really like the Scneider range in terms of looks. I'll have a look at your option if someone can confirm that they don't do ethernet wall plugs, which would really shock me.

PS. I plan to have 2 separate conduits, one for the power plug and one for an adjacent ethernet wall plug.

Don't suppose you'd know any walk in stores that stock those connections? :)

Builders Warehouse stock some, but your best bet is Voltex. They can usually get in a couple of days.

Thanks! Needed to take a trip out to Builders this weekend anyway so that'll work out nicely if they do have there.
