Etrex 10 / 20x GPS

Ok, so i stumbled upon geocaching recently. Looked at a few vids on YT and rrally liked the idea.

A lot of people have an etrex, some use their cellphones.

My question is for someone who uses an etrex: what can you do with the 10 and 20?

Is the 10 a good deal? I hear one cannot load maps. Obviously i want to use it for something other than geocaching, so that is a requirement.

The 20x comes preloaded with RSA recreational maps - any review on this?

Can one navigate with a 20x, and is it so much better than the 10 for the difference in price?

I have the 10, use it for caching and for marking off way points for other side projects. Nice feature is that it tracks where you have been and what roads you used when plotted on base camp. Personally I don’t think the 20 is worth the extra money

I started with the old Etrex in 2001. It's all you need. Maps are nice though but not needed.
