move bitch get outta the way.
Wow I hate the way Spain play. It's actually boring, dunno how people can like it. It was really refreshing to see Torres play, because he was an outlet, but the way they waited and waited to give him the ball sometimes... was dreadful watching it. Yes, it's skillful, yes they are amazingly talented players... but it's also meh footy.
Yeah I've never found tika taka entertaining. Same schit over and over again.
How people can find players passing the ball back and forth between each other hundreds of times entertaining is beyond me.
I take it Jy smaak skop, skiet en donner footie![]()
Have you even played football ? Xavi and Iniesta are like the gods of football. It's not just the tika, taka as they say. They dribble an opponent with body movements without even making contact with the ball... It's sheer genius. What is more is that they are on top if the world which means it's working![]()
You sound like someone who's been told what to like about football.
I played football. I don't need to be told what to like about it. I know what is good entertaining football.

Have you ever considered that different people, find different aspects and playing styles entertaining?
+1.
The fact that you played football doesn't make your view on entertaining football the be all and end all. I hate it when people use that statement.
Spain (and by association Barcelona) do become rather tiresome to watch at times. The invincible Arsenal team were brilliant to watch because they attacked with such devestation, and Real Madrid currently play this way as well. I prefer them to the way Barcelona play.
EDIT: RexxGrim, naturally this is not aimed at you but to the poster that you responded to.

No, I like football that is varied. Seeing one team pass the ball into the net is not exactly fun.
Just look at the first goal - it didn't come as a result of a beautiful flowing move, it came as a result of Torres being in the right lace at the right time. The Spanish then proceeded to ignore him for most of the game as they passed between each other (the most irritating passes being the 5/6 passes between two players).
The last thing I want to say is that when Spain pass back, it's considered smart, technical football, whereas anyone else doing it is considered "disgusting, time-wasting tactics of fascist anti-footballing". Rubbish.
EDIT: If there is no Messi in the Barca team, or Messi is neutered (a la Chelsea), then Barca are like Arsenal. Pass pass pass, and piss all else.
I love Spains confidenece and chilledness, they play 1,2s in and around the box, they weren't afraid of losing the ball because they are that good.
