An end of an era. Oke was a household name for leaks.
Evan Blass retires @evleaks
Evan Blass, the man behind the famous @evleaks X (formerly Twitter) account, has announced that he's retiring the account after some 14 years.
Blass doesn't go into detail, but says that leaking phones and posting wallpapers, at this point in his life, isn't a fruitful pursuit. He adds that through his work as @evleaks, he's unable to support a steady income, and going a bit deeper, admits he can't afford an important prescription - Blass was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disorder) in 2014.
Evan Blass has been the source of countless leaks on our and many other tech media's websites for more than a decade. By his own admission, he's been leaking phones since 2009, three years before founding the now-legendary @evleaks.
