Eve Online - Help Needed

Hello Capsuleer

I have been out of the Eve universe for a while and need some assistance to turn my JOAT (Jack Of All Trades) char into something useful.

I enjoy pretty much everything, but my favorite is C1 wormholes. I would appreciate any advice.

Useful in what sense? For a 0.0 alliance there is probably no pilot as in demand as a dictor pilot - this can also be great in wormholes. For incursions logistics is the way to go. But if I just look at your skills then the one most in need is battlecruiser V.

P.S. if you want to have lots of fun, come join Red vs Blue with me.
 
Thanks for that, im trying to figure out the fastest way to get a decent ship for PVE. I forgot pretty much what I was doing (training), hence the need for advice. I will start battlecruiser to 5.

Seems some of my ships are floating somewhere in 0.0, lolz.

Drake is the best possible PVE battle cruiser and missiles is the best weapons systme for PVE too due to its ultra versatility.
If you have isk to spend, go for a Tengu.

Not sure why you would like to do wormholes since incursion yield much more isk per hour these days. And Spykertjie is correct - most fun you can have atm in the PVP arena is with Red vs Blue, you should see the amount of kills those guys put on the killboards every month.
 
Yeah Drake is very nice, but too slow for me. I have the ISK for a Tengu, but I think with my skills it will take a few months to skill for it completly. I have a nicely fitted Raven sitting somewhere in 0.0, I used it for ratting. Dont think I will be able to retrieve it as I believe that area is now pretty hostile.

I missed the incursion expansion so I still need to get up to date on how that works. I just love the idea of wormholes and really enjoyed myself the last time I found one. PVP is not my main focus, I do enjoy it now and then but only when its an optional extra.
 
If you more interested in the really small/solo PVP type stuff. Killing people for ingame currency or be a general Douch Bag. Convo me ingame.

Cannibal Kane is the name.

Dotlan maps is your friend, plus we SA players have a advantage in that before 9 o'clock the servers are not that busy. Just get into a fast small ship with PvP mods in the cargo (a shuttle might work, cheap to leave behind), refit the Raven and fly out. Do not auto pilot ! You only really have to be worried when you reach a low sec to empire pipe, that is where most of the gate camps are. Unless you are unlucky and run into a wolf pack ;).
 
0.0 is a big place... say which region or system the ship is in... someone may be in that area and help you... or ever perhaps safer and cheaper to sell it on a contract there and buy another in hi sec

Correct, sell it and by another - you will make a profit by selling it in null as ratting ships sell like hot cakes there.
Just takes one guy to report you in intel channels and the whole community in that area will be hunting you.

Thank you for the offer, being a douch doesnt really appeal to me.

Thanks for the advice, I threw it all onto a contract and will see if it sells.

I have battle cruiser almost at 4 now, so thats an improvement. Still not to sure what I am going to do first, just been selling some stuff and moving stuff around. Had way too much stuff scattered all over the galaxy.

Think I have a hulk somewhere, maybe I should shoot asteroids for a bit. Hmm cant remember if I finished my story missions, maybe I should check that out.

Shooting roids hasn't been as profitable as it is right now for quite a while. Mineral prices have skyrocketed over the last couple of weeks.

Although the consequence is that products are more expensive too, so its all relative.

Yeah I noticed the prices, I wanted to buy a Charon and boy has the price seriously gone up!

I use the word douch bag since that is what your normally called when you surprise and kill a target. Some do use more colorful language but it amounts to the same at the end of the day.

There is nothing better than watching somebodies ship explode, and doing it when outnumbered 2 to 1 is even better.

So, Let me rephrase: If combat appeals to you then contact Cannibal Kane ingame. I got an alliance war starting this weekend. My 2 man corp against a 500 man Alliance. Glorious.

So I jumped back in 0.0 to see if I could sell or retrieve my stuff. Met a bunch of good guys including a guy from SA I was in a corp with a few years ago. Had a good time there in the station, managed to sell all my stuff and now have a offer to join a 0.0 corp.

Not sure I want to dive back into 0.0 so soon, but this reminded me what makes this game so awesome.
 
My main setup at the moment is in high sec Jascheris, I am visiting 0.0 for a day :-) no idea what region in 0.0, never really checked.

Edit : just checked dotlan, seems to be Pure Blind.

Im not in the alliance yet, still considering the offer to join. Like I said not sure if I want to go straight back into 0.0 after so long out of the game. That and the fact most of my manufacturing is done in high sec, not sure how I would transfer that into 0.0

Cant even remember too much. Haha, though they are good guys in that region, they said it doesnt matter I should just join and they can help me in an "offhand" manner.
