Eve Online

I wana so badly.... But no it is a LIFE killer!
 
I played a few years ago for a couple of months.
Got to the point where I could do lvl4 missions with my eyes closed.
Not much fun arriving in system and losing a priced battleship fully fitted with navy mods due to lag... twice.
Then when they changed the ship fittings and drones it screwed my setup and skills do badly I gave up.
Also didnt help all the action happends in timezones when we should be sleeping.
Fun game but a timesink of note.
 
Yes I have been playing for about 6 months now, and do enjoy the game a lot. But like Magnum said, it is a life killer, just hard to play anything else after I started playing EVE

I've seen one of my friends play it and I thought it looked way too slow. I don't have the dedication to play hours and not really experience other people running around and stuff. The game looks kinda lonely with you cramped up in your spaceship 99% of the time. Not meaning to bash the game, this is just how it appeared to me.

On the good side, it is considered one of the hardest MMOs by many. I guess that could appeal to some. I personally enjoy quick online games like MOBAs, especially Heroes of the Storm, where I only have to dedicate around 20 minutes for a round at a time.
 
Dedicated many years to it. But lost interest when friends stopped playing. Still kept account active to train up skills. Might sell off character or go back one day..
 
I stopped playing cause I could never generate enough plex to pay for itself and the game is ridiculously expensive. Also the skill injection stuff makes n00bs stay n00bs compared to the crazy people that played it for years already.

Everyone says a year for a titan but first you need to build it. All that only to get it shut down by @ssholes. It is the @sshole rpg of the century.

100% not true. I have taken out people that is train way longer then me in pvp solo fights

Yes it does have a impact but if you know what you are doing you can still kill him. Titans are not what you fight in most.Solo fights are in ships like frigates and destroyers 70% of the time
 
I agree with DTBA, you do get your big battles where people come with titans and massive battles happen, but most of the PvP action is done in solo to small gangs and they fly Frigates and Destroyers most of the time. I do Factional Warfare every night with 2 of my mates and we fight against a lot of people but 90% of the time we fight frigates vs frigates

Yeah was just joking next to incursions you get no better money than Faction Warfare but its not my cup of tee keeping my dscan open tends to irritate me to no extent specifically when i lag alot!
 
I hardly play anymore. Having said that I still have an active account and training is still ongoing ... :p

But that said, of all the games I ever have played eve puts you on your nerves.

LOL, that gif pretty much sums up Eve for me.
Pretty awesome MMO, my favorite MMO I have played, but such a massive time sink.
I really does become a 2nd job.

Well after living in a wormhole for a couple of months, I got using DScan so much that I still hit the DScan even when I'm flying in Hi Sec. So using DScan while running plexes is no hassle for me. Actually doing the FW more for learning PvP, then for making isk. For making isk I have 2 toons doing ice mining while I do my FW

I just can't play with something bigger then a cruiser, they are so slow I can just pull out my hair.
