Ever bought from iMobile-Pad Limited?

Anybody ever tried buying a cellphone from this business. Apparently they're based in PE and sell smartphones at wholesale prices.. You deal with a "sales rep" by the name Edwin. I would like to know if this is a scam or legit because they only post ads on sites like Gumtree, Olx and Locanto and they don't have a website

Never heard of them and from your description its almost certainly a scam. I would not deal with a company like that. The money you make off selling phones is more than enough to setup your on proper website. Only other circumstance under which I would deal with them is if I could collect the phone myself and pay cash on collection. I will most certainly test that phone before buying it and even go as far as calling Vodacom/MTN/CellC/Virgin to make sure the IMEI is not that of a stolen phone too.

THIS IS A HOAX. The company does not exist and its registration number is false. My dad placed an order with them during May 2012 and has had endless problems in getting a refund or even delivery of the goods. The initial order was for 1 x apple i-pad which he paid for. Next he received an email saying that he better pay an additional R5,000.00 as his package contained 3 i-pads. I have made so many phone calls to them to try and recover the money paid out. Everyone passes the buck to everyone else. DO NOT FALL PREY TO THIS.
