My mate just bought a whole new rig from them. He seems pleased enough. And their prices are great. :)
 
I bought a Gaming PC from them about 2 years ago and what an absolute pleasure!
I wanted to build a high spec machine and required at that time the new i7 chips and the new Nvidia GTX295 Graphics card.
I approxed as many of the well known companies as I could find and no one could help.

Found the Evetech's website and they had my machine built within 3 days and saved me about R6000.00 from what I had bugeted for!!
Awesome service at an amazing price!!!

I think they're expensive and that their "custom" machines doesn't allow for much flexibility.

Anyone that knows what he really wants can get MUCH better prices by buying from either Pcint or Rebeltech, or combining the two for the cheapest and best customized machine.

These "Are Evetech any good" threads seem to be popping up too often, mods should lokk into it that it's not they themselves starting these..

Agreed about the last poster. Smacks like advertising.
 
Just so you guys can compare for yourselves.
Let's take their basic i7 machine, which costs R9238.

If I build the exact same machine on Rebel-tech's website, it adds up to R8195. (I actually picked a BETTER CPU (i7 930) and BETTER RAM (4GB TEAM 1600))
Then there the stupid T&C like that it has a one year warranty on the parts, but a two-year labor warranty, while the only parts only really carrying a one year warranty is the PSU and DVD-RW, the rest has three...

IMO this is fail.

Depends what your'e looking for. Bought my HD7970 Vapor-X from them for much cheaper than all the other online retailers at the time.

Cannot complain about their service at all.
