Evetech compaints thread?

I recently purchased a chair from evetech, after calling the salesperson because I assumed that it would be quicker. Unfortunately I was put through to Slow Joe, who struggled so much to prepare the invoice, one day later I still did not have it, despite me sending him email reminders. After waiting two days and still nothing, I realised that it would be quicker to order via the website, which I did. I then realised that I had ordered the wrong chair, and needed to pay in some money. So back to the telephone and more days of waiting for an email invoice to arrive from Slow Joe.
I then discovered better chairs for far cheaper, so I cancelled my order. I got a refund one week later, less a few hundred rands. I queried this with them, they referred me to their terms and conditions, told me that it was because of "finance and other charges". I then asked them for an invoice for the "finance and other charges", so that I could take it to the NCC, but they refused to give me one. I insisted, and they refused, so I told them I would take the whole long story to the NCC. A few days later, received the exact sum refunded.

Evetech service is slow as molasses, and they try to charge for expenses that they haven't incurred. Beware and stay away from Evetech.
