Hi, i ordered from evetech sunday night and made payment through EFT FNB however i did not receive a payment received notification from evetech. Also in the order confirmed email the amount i had to pay was R 3533,90 which i paid but later when i checked the website the amount was rounded off to R 3534,00. Now im wondering if my payment will be approved or are they usually slow with payment received via EFT. This is my first time buying online so i would like to know if anyone else had a similar problem with evetech, i think its pretty bad that they give two different amounts, thanks

If Evetech doesn't bank with FNB, then you could reasonably expect it to take up to 4 days for them to acknowledge payment on their side.
If it takes longer, best to try and contact them to see what the hold up is.
Evetech is not known for defaulting on orders, but their after sales service is notoriously bad.
EDIT: I see they have an FNB account, so the payment has likely cleared already, but since you only placed the order last night, I would give them at least one business day to start processing it.

Evetech requires that you email them the POP to [email protected]
Until you do that your order will sit in limbo.
I did do that through the fnb banking app, my thing is the amount in the email wasn't rounded off but on the website to track the order the amount was round off to the nearest rand, so now im wondering if thats causing a problem, when you bought something from them through EFT did you pay the exact amount or the rounded off?

Think i might give it a day before i phone, how long does it usually take to approve the prove of payment with EFT(FNB to FNB)?

Like 20 minutes at most if fnb isn't having another system failure, in terms of the bank itself reflecting payment. Then however many hours it takes for the sales/accounts guys to go through their list of orders and then matching it to payments.
I see, i guess i have to wait for the guy to check my POP. I did order on a sunday night though, thanks for replies btw this is all new to me

The few times I've bought from evetech, I've done EFT.
That will usually take a full business day or two to clear/process & it's also advisable you send your proof of payment to them.

Evetech aside (my condolences), Give the EFT at least 1 business day to reflect and processed in their account.

Don't let people scare you to much. I have not ever heard of them screwing people over payments you should get your items and everything. But your after sale support might hurt.

The only bank that seems to give issues is Standard. They force a hold on every transaction.
FNB to Evetech is within a second or two.
