VERY and they come with good guarantees as well. So its a good brand :)
 
EVGA have good GFX cards but i dont know about the MB .You cant go wrong with asus though
 
I thought this would be about the 16 colour standard
 
evga is good but if you into overclocking dont go with a nvidia chipset..i am currently saving for an asus rampage 2 extreme..very xpensive though!
 
Had two eVGA cards when I built my current system, planning to do SLi - both died within 2 months:(. I could of course just be really unlucky but what are the odds of two cards dying like that? Had my Asus 8800GT now for almost 2 years - still going strong.

I had the same problem with MSI MB's stuck with Gigabyte now and have no problems at all... But I am thinking of upgrading to Asus P6T MB for Intel i7 series.

Well you are supposed to have a 10 year guarantee in any case so there shouldn't be a problem :)

This has more to do with the fact that we don't really get their products sold here until 2/so years back when a new reseller was announced for them in SA. But yes...ASUS is a good brand when it comes to MB's.

I've got that board and my 920 does 3.7 comfortably on almost stock volts and low 29 degree idle temps.

Unfortunately, each 920 chip is a different beast, and whilst mine does 4.0Ghz, the voltage increase required is way to high for my liking and the temps shoot up.

Plus depending on your RAM specs, for a 4.0Ghz overclock the 920 needs a BLK of 200, meaning most will have to underclock their RAM to achieve that.

3.7Ghz is more than enough with fast DDR3 1800+ ram running good timings actually making more of an impact than raw CPU Mhz...


Just my 10c.

Nothing wrong with EVGA. Their recent "classified" Core i7 motherboard looks like an insane animal.
