The only problem I have with this video is that it seems to imply a species has to be replaced by those that come after it (in this case species x). Sometimes a population of that animal can change (due to habitat change or something else), but other populations from the same species stay the same.

I think an example of this could be wolves. All domesticated dogs are descendent of grey wolves, but we still have grey wolves.

I don't expect religious people to actually do research so just chose the most attention grabbing title.
 
Because they still have a place and perform a function in their natural environment (the bits that have not been destroyed by mankind, the vilest ape).
