they're all made in the same factory and all pretty much do the same thing you just need to find one that uses the combination of products that works for you. Dont let the reps at dischem tell you any different.

different products have different effect on people- Perc gave me hectic gas. Evox not so much.

Evox had a strange taste- not unpleasant, just different.

Evox is one of the best - I've tried some others, and it is one of the best so far. Any proetien supplement is going to give you gas if you don't drink enough water with it, and I'm not talking about the water you mix it with. You need to drink copious amounts of water to dissolve that stuff and to help your system absorb it. Your stomach contains hydrochloric acid, which interacts with the protein and produces hydrogen sulphide gas as a by-product. The more water you drink, the less gas it will produce.

I'd suggest something more balanced, equal amounts of protein and carbs.
Stay away from anything with anabolic or creatine.

sorry excuse my ignorance but where is there anything involving creatine or anabolic in evox synergy whey?

Ingredients:
Calcium Casienate; Whey Protein Concentrate; Whey Protein Isolate; Cacao Powder; Milk Powder; Inulin; Oligofructose; Lecithin; Xanthan Gum; Glutamine Peptides; Colostrum; Essential Fatty Acids; Medium Chain Triglycerides; Octacosanol; Green Tea Extract; Alpha Lipoic Acid; L-Isoleucine; L-Leucine; L-Valine; Permitted Flavouring; Permitted Colouring; Sodium Chloride; Colloidal Silicone Dioxide; Modified Starch; Non-nutritative Sweeteners.

also on a side note the 2 scoops they recommend does not equal the 32grams they say it does, 3 heaped equals around 32grams

funnily enough i'm not a bodybuilder, but being a dad and working the long hours that i do i've been exhausted, plus my son still wakes up a few times a night and i get up to look after him, so i'm pretty much stuffed all of the time. i bought a bucket of whey(not the one mentioned), but when i was taking it i felt like i had energy again. my aches and pains went away and i started looking less grim :p

there is obviously something wrong with my current diet, but the whey was making up for it, now if i can only afford to get some more it might help me again :p

Protein shakes contain vitamin supplements also- maybe all you need is a good multi vitamin or a vitamin B injection.
