Yeah but I guess you going to need something out of the ordinary to tip him off that something is fishy, like messages being read or deleted. If you purely observe then I think you can get away with it in sort sessions. OP wants to risk it for the biscuit

I think the best way to hack whatsapp is to hack the desktop client ? Not sure what kind of security they have on it but might be a cell number and password
