Excel 2003 - Copying data

Hi friends...

Is it possible to copy data/value from a cell without copying it's formula or reference. Trying to copy data resulting from a formula to a different workbook but since the new book cannot reference to the old workbook, it gives REF! error.. Just wanna copy the data forgetting about the formula

Select Cell -> CTRL-C -> Go to target cell -> Right-click -> Paste Special -> Select "Value" radio button
