I would appreciate any assistance on this problem

I have excel workbooks that are linked to another workbook, but they reside on one local server.
Here is what we have.
ROE.xlsx (this file includes updates on the rate of exchange that we update manually each day)
quote template.xltx (this file checks what the rate of exchange is from ROE.xlsx and updates its prices accordingly)
other files.xltx (and some other files that use the ROE.xlsx to update numbers etc, but not important to solve my problem)

I need my collegues in other cities to use these files without connecting directly to the files on my server.
Dropbox is a possibility but it sits in the user folder eg: c:\users\john\dropbox\ROE.xlsx and on sue's one its c:\users\sue\dropbox\ROE.xlsx. This means that when the other users open the files, the links are broken because they are absoute links and not relative links... I have searched and searched and modified my registry and found almost no way to overcome this issue.

Does anyone have any ideas for me. either alternative solutions, or how to get excel 2013 to use relative links eg: ..\..\dropbox\ROE.xlsx (not the full path, just the relative path)

THank you

Not ideal, but if you can't come right another way, you could ask everyone to make their Dropbox folder on their machine live in the same place? EG: c:\dropbox ?
