Excel guru's - please help!

My issue was some bug in Excel, google brought up many instance where people mentioned the column format would randomly be changed in workbooks. I tried opening the excel doc on a different pc and the same thing was happening so it’s not region settings or similar.

It wasn’t such a difficult fix fortunately, considering changing the format for the column fixes all the entries, I was more concerned about why it was happening. I found the last uncorrupted backup and then copied over the last few pages from the current version where I had fixed the format.

Used to happen a lot in Macro heavy workbooks we were running.

It got to the point where the macro would ensure that columns are formatted correctly.
