I am trying to create; for a lack of correct terminology I call it a filter; where u select an item from some lookup and that item disappears from the look up next time you lookup again. I am describing it poorly so I created this .gif using camtasia to illustrate.

I basically manually deleted the records after each select and deleted those frames to create an illusion for what I am trying to create.

I hope you follow.

I have no idea - but I suppose it has to be a named list in Excel with an IF filter in place to check for the value already in use... *something* like that might work

Don't ask me how, but this is definitely a job for a Macro

Not a macro - It is data validation, this option is listed on the Data Menu, further you have to select List on the Allow menu
