I am not sure if this has been done before but thought it'd be nice to put a thread together of small tricks you have learned whilst working with Excel.

Irrelevant of how simple, someone might not know it.

Starting off - when you add a filter to a set of columns and have pesky spaces that stop you from filtering ALL the data, select your range by highlighting the entire column instead of just the top row

holding ctrl and an arrow key navigates to the next blank row.

so ctrl shift down will select everything from where you are to the bottom of the data

you can then use ctrl D to copy formula's down that range.
ctrl R copies right

I've only recently learned how to link stuff on excel :p
Never worked with it before and didn't learn much about it at school

CTRL+A selects a block of data
Esc exits a formula
Data -> Data Validation -> List and selecting a range of data creates a drop down

Duplicate information across sheets. Select the sheets while you press Ctrl or shift. Type your information and it is duplicated to all the sheets you selected.

Using Fill Series is very powerful when the Trend option is selected.
