Today I would like to congratulate Afrihost on providing excellent service with my parents Openserve fiber line installation.
I have place a fiber order with Afrihost via Client Zone as a preorder, as Openserve was busy decommissioning copper lines in the area of Great Brakriver WC where my parents live. They were busy replacing copper lines with fiber at the time.
I understood that this would take so time to be done, so I waited patiently. After checking the AH website regularly, I noticed after some time that the pre-order on Openserve was taken off, so that means that the fiber network must be active. This was middle of April 2023.
Not seeing that my fiber installation is happening, I contacted AH support on 06 May 2023 enquiring about the process. I then received an reply via email (08 May 2023) that a manual update has been done and order submitted, and Openserve will contact me to arrange installation between 7 and 14 day. OK super - I will wait the 2 weeks - no problem. I was constantly updated via email of my order progress and even the Fiber Router settings was communicated to let me know it was setup and ready to be couriered to me.
I was contacted today via the courier company that my package will be delivered today (10 May 2023). It was delivered between 11 and 12 am today. Very fast and friendly service. Also a technician of Openserve contacted me today to arrange a time for the installation - I was super impressed by the fast reply within 2 days of Afrihost submitting a manual order to them.
The time for installation was scheduled at 10H30 - they arrived perfectly on time and explained to my parents what needed to be done and asked where the ONT should be placed an a very neat installation was done - my parents are very happy with the excellent manner in which the installation was done. The technician was also very friendly and answered any question my parents had. I later received the email that my fiber line as now active. I am super impressed by the fast and excellent way my order was dealt with and the fast time my installation was done.

I have had Just DSL with Afrihost in the past and always just received excellent service.
